      "David Lee Campbell
      "October 2, 1944 - January 25, 2020
"Age 76, passed away on January 25, 2021 in Rochester, MN due to complications from diabetes. He was born October 2, 1944 in Anamosa to Bob and Betty Campbell. He was the 4th of 6 children. Early on it was determined that Dave was delayed due to circumstances surrounding his birth. This didn't stop him from enjoying his life. He was active as a bowler, pool player and football manager to Anamosa team. He worked many years for his brother George at the Texaco station in Anamosa. He moved to Minnesota in 1980's with the help of his brother Bob. He enjoyed his life in St. Paul. While residing in adult foster care there he held several jobs. In about 2005 he decided to move to Rochester to be close to youngest sister, Cathy. Dave's mobility and health declined over the next 15 years. This required him to be transported frequently by van. He told his sister Cathy the drivers of the vans "are all my friends". He is survived by his sisters, Beckie Howe, Cathy Knopp; his sister-in-law, Carolynn Campbell; much beloved 10 nieces and nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews. He is proceeded in death by his parents; sister, Sally; brothers, Bob and George. The funeral will be held in the spring in Anamosa at the United Methodist Church."
