  • Notes
    • In a Christmas, 2002, letter, Glen and Cindy wrote:
"This year ... saw the end of our service as a missionary couple when we returned in June from France after serving 17 months in the same wonderful branch of the church in Rouen, the city where Joan of Arc was burned at the stake. We saw much positive growth and made many wonderful friends we very reluctantly left there. *** We are back home now, every busy. Two days after arriving home, Cindy was called to teach Seminary to the 14 and 15 year old youth, an experience we have found to be equivalent to a full-time job.... Glen serves as high priest group leader in the ward working with about 21 great men. He is working especially hard on compiling genealogical data in hopes of publishing a book on the names he has collected...."

In their Christmas, 2003, letter, Glen and Cindy wrote: :
"Glen continues to be very busy even though retired. We have discovered that retirement is definitely not 'retiring.' But that is the way we like it. Glen continues as High Priest Group Leader and spends a great deal of time on genealogy and family history in between other assignments. Cindy is in her second year of teaching Seminary to 14 high school freshmen and sophomores at 6 am Monday through Friday.... [W]e love to be busy in doing good things and being of service to others."
