    • The 1860 census shows his parents "Wm Alnut," 50, living with his second wife "Helen," 27, and three of their children: Emma, 5; Frank, 3; and John, 2 months; as well as children from William's first marriage. All persons in the household were born in Maryland. 1860 U.S. Census, Buckeystown Dist, Frederick Cnty, MD (M 653, Roll 475, stamped p. 852).

      The 1870 census records his parents, William P. Allnutt, 60, living with his wife "Hellen S", 55, and a number of children: Robert D. (18); Emma M. (14); Frank F.       Wm.J.Grove, HISTORY OF CARROLLTON MANOR, p. 34 (1928), reports that the "R. Frank Allnutt" family were members of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and Parish.
