  • Notes
    • (Research):Note that this information might apply to her sister Susana:

In her pamphlet «i»The Dick Family of Wayne County, Kentucky«/i», pp. 3-4 (1980), Nora Jones Hickam wrote:
«tab»"«u»Suckey«/u», born ca. 1770's, married Bill Burdette (born 1770's). I cannot find much about them except they had one son, Enoch, who was born in 1790's. In the 1830 census, they were both in their 50's and living with them was their son who was in his 30's. At this time they were living in Casey County, Kentucky. If Enoch was born in the 1790's (probably the later part), then he was born in Virginia. It makes you think that the Burdettes could have been married in Virginia also, and probably came with John and Christina to Wayne County. I could not find a Burdette, so they may have lived with the Dick Family after marrying. They are not in the census in 1840, but Enoch is. I imagine he never married."
