    • The 1900 census reports Albert, 14 yrs old, born in Maryland in Aug 1885, living with his parents Richard and Carrie and 6 siblings. He was employed in a cotton mill. «i»1900 U.S. Census«/i», 12th Ward, Baltimore, Baltimore Cnty, MD (T 623, Roll 612, stamped p. 287).

      John's World War I draft registration card gives his date of birth as 12 Aug 1886, and states that his a "natural born" citizen, born in Baltimore, MD; it further states that he was single and "Caucasion," and "tall" and "slender" with "light brown" eyes and "black" hair.

      The 1930 census lists John "Snoffer," 44 years old, single, working as a "helper," in an ice company [perhaps; the writing is almost illegible]. He lived next door to his brother Benjamin and family. «i» 1930 U.S. Census,«/i» 12th Ward, Baltimore, Baltimore County, MD (T 626, Roll 856, stamped p. 70).

      John's Death Certificate (Baltimore, MD # F 68842) gives his occupation as an "iceman."
