    • The 1900 census reports Hattie, 16 yrs old, born in Maryland in Feb 1884, living with her parents Richard and Carrie and 6 siblings. 1900 U.S. Census, 12th Ward, Baltimore, Baltimore Cnty, MD (T 623, Roll 612, stamped p. 287).
    • The 1910 census shows her first husband John H Freeburger, 33, living with his wife of 5 years, Hattie M, 26. Both were born in MD. John was employed as some sort of a "driver" for the "City" [the handwriting is hard to decipher]. 1910 U.S. Census, Ward 18, Baltimore City, MD (T 624, Roll 559, stamped p. 45 B).
